Montag's Job

The beginning of the book starts off with Montag leaving the place in which he burned down. He seems very proud of his job at this point. In fact, the author goes on to describe the way Montag slides down the fireman pole. What are some themes you can come up with that compare how Montag felt about his job in the beginning to how he feels about it towards the end?
